Intuitive Tuesday -- The Devil (reversed)

Every Tuesday, I'll select one card and give you my interpretation of it. See how it applies to your life. What messages are here for you? Please add comments to enhance the messages for other people in the Wild Women Community and to share how this applies to you.

The Devil card indicates feeling stuck by self-imposed limitations. When it is reversed, it shows that you are breaking free of the limiting thoughts and beliefs that have gotten you into this situation and have kept you feeling stuck. You are ready to face your fears, take the risk and move out of this emotional prison.

One of my favorite quotes is by Anais Nin,
"And there came a time when the risk to remain tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom."
You are at that point. What once felt safe, now leaves you feeling trapped.

The Devil reversed indicates that you have the faith and courage to take one step forward. This step will lead to the next and to the next, until you look up and are free from the chains that you imagined around your neck. You are free to continue on your path.

Enjoy your new-found FREEDOM and realize that, just like Dorothy discovered in The Wizard of Oz, it was there all along.

Did you pick this for me?? haha It does fit my situation perfectly. I have been feeling so stuck and at the end of my rope, losing hope but not sure what I'm missing. I know I don't have to feel this way and there is something better on the other side but having a hard time seeing how to get there or even what it is. I know it will come to me I just have to let it and not be afraid :) What a glorious day that will be! Thanks again for all your help.

I am preparing to go from Carrizozo, New Mexico to Times Square - from a little town of about 1000 to a metropolis. I think this card is also right on for me today!

As always, you are right on with me. You know what my challenge is and I am doing what I can to move forward... The card is right on once again!!! Thanks Sheri!

Well that is exactly what I am doing these days. Breaking free of my limitations and assisting my clients to do the same.
I love the Anais Nin quote.
And it is Spring.
The perfect time to Blossom.
I have always loved perfect rose buds. When we are in our bud state we are gathering energy, sensing the power that is gathering and curious about what will be. It is a delightful state.
And we hold all the power within the bud.
In blossoming we Let Go of all that power. Re-Leasing it into the world. Allowing the energy to expand, attract and regenerate.
And we dance with the Universe.

Puts a skip in my step, like going off to see the wizard, but the wizard is ME.

Another great fit. Thanks, Sheri!

Were you thinking of ME when you pulled this card? I so hope you are right. We've been stuck in a situation for over 2 *years* and today got the call that can change it all. As the situation endures, hope has been hard hold on to. Intuitive Tuesday has given me the hope that we are almost there! I'll let you know after the test tomorrow. Thanks for reminding us not to give up!

After today's post at Mile High Mama's by your sister, I just had to come over and check you out. :)

You are just as lovely and intriguing as Lori!! My dad reads tarot so I will pass along your link to him as well!

The Devil card... hmmm.... this feels like it could possibly pertain to a new direction I've been wanting to take in the book I'm writing. It has felt very risky to go down a certain path, but I do believe I shouldn't hold back, either...

Glad I visited. Thank you for sharing this. :)

It sounds like this card hit home with many of you. It does for me too. Let's -- each of us -- together take a step forward, even if it feels risky and see what happens. Note that this is a small step, but a step nonetheless.

I also pulled one additional card for Catherine...and her project of writing a book. See if this rings true for each of you.

I pulled the Death card reversed. This can indicate a resistance to necessary change, feeling stuck, stagnation, fear of change, etc. It can mean that you are hanging onto a situation that no longer applies to you and who you are becoming.

Would writing this book take you out of your comfort zone? Would it force you to release a persona/situation that has felt safe for a while? The feeling is, “Why rock the boat?” But it still feels like it is time for you to move one step further down the path.

In fact, this project will be hanging around you until you decide to do it…so why wait?

Good luck to all of us as we step forward and get un-stuck. Devil be gone!

So many people have cautioned me about travelling to New York City and expressed fear about the outbreak of Swine Flu. I am choosing to listen to my intuition and the Devil Card Reversed and thoroughly enjoy my trip!

Laura -- it's hard to go wrong when you follow your intuition...and yours is SO strong!

This is a chance for you to step forward and you've rarely (if ever) not taken a chance that you felt was right.

I pulled a card for you -- The Lovers -- which can indicate a major decision and taking time to consider what might happen. It combines the energy of both male and female and indicates travel and short trips.

One last and important thing -- the Lovers card is a sign of spiritual protection and recovery.

Does that line up with what you are feeling intuitively?

The Lovers card, eh? We will see what develops! (-:
