Today's Angel Card: Enthusiasm

I have a bowl of Angel cards in my office and also in my living room. If you've not seen Angel Cards, they are simple cards with one word and a drawing of an angel.

I used to keep Angel cards in my office when I worked with a bunch of engineers. It was tough for these left-brained, analytical people to believe in anything that they could not prove...but, several of them would stop by my office each day to select their card for the day. One of the lead engineers, in fact, will email me every-so-often, asking me to pull a card for him.

Today I have pulled a card for all of us: Enthusiasm.
The Original Angel Cards Book explains its meaning: Be present with zestful alertness! Loosen your constraints and let your passion for life uplift others and generate new opportunities.
I'm enthusiastic most of the time and am reminded to consciously focus on this energy vibration -- not only to benefit me, but all of the other people in my life.

What can you do to raise your enthusiasm, loosen your constraints and let your passion for life uplift others and generate opportunities?

I'm more like those button-down engineers than I'd like to think.

I think just tuning in to my breath in a moment will release enthusiasm.

I meant to say, "I THINK JUST TUNING IN TO MY BREATH RELEASES ENTHUSIASM!"

I needed this pick me up after Tuesday's downer of a card for me. I've been trying to keep up my enthusiasm in the face of challenging circumstances. I've been working with hypnotherapy on that, and I think it's been helping.

I don't get around much (er, the blogosphere, that is!) and was reminded in Lori's Shout Out how awesome you are. I really need to find more time to let my friends know how much I appreciate their support and kindness.

ThankYouThankYouThankYou for being my friend.

One day we'll all meet up (and I'll finally have that mojito I keep hearing is so dang good!).

Hugs, my friend. :o)

"Be present with zestful alertness." Yes. So important to be present and passionate, regardless of the obstacles that seem to be in the way. Although having fertility challenges can be so spirit-crushing, I do my best to get back up after each failed cycle, stronger, smarter and yes, enthusiastic and excited about being a mom. Thank you for your support, Sheri.
