Focus on Strength , Compassion and Peace

Note:  You may have noticed that I did not post an Intuitive Tuesday on Thursday post this week.

When summer began, I saw a decrease in readers and in comments, which probably means that with the warmer weather, each of us is spending less time near the computer and more time outside. Yeah!

Instead of posting an Intuitive Tuesday on Thursday post each week, check back for insights, thoughts, comments and quotes throughout the week.

Since I started my Yoga Teacher training this week, don't be surprised if I share some of my thoughts and perspectives on that as well.

Be sure to check back on Tuesdays for Intuitive Tuesday. I encourage you to share your thoughts and insights with me and the other readers.

And so...here are my thoughts for today:

In reading the comments from the Intuitive Tuesday post earlier this week, it sounds like many of us have been touched by the Ten of Swords energy -- either in its upright position (feeling as though you have been stabbed in the back, defeated, pain, etc.) or in its reversed position (the pain is behind you and now you can move forward).

It's tough to know how to respond to someone who has lost someone dear to her or to someone who is experiencing the feelings of frustration and helplessness in struggling with infertility, or feelings of defeat in a business situation, and the pain and grief of divorce and its aftermath. Just reading your comments, I began to tap into the pain you may be feeling.

And then I remembered that ours is just a small (as in number, not magnitude) sample of what other struggles are happening all around us, with people we love or possibly just come in contact with (like the bank teller or grocery clerk). We may not know what battles they face, but we know that we each walk our own path, facing whatever obstacles may appear.

So today, focus on compassion for yourself and for others as we all continue to walk our paths through life.

Call upon the energy of the Strength card to help you tap into your reservoir of power, love, energy and forgiveness.  Even if you wonder how much strength you have left, know that it is there and have the faith that you can find it.

You've heard that there is strength in numbers. Let's use our blog community to connect our energies and help each of us have the courage to move forward with strength and compassion...to find peace.

I found this quote by King Solomon:
“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”
Just think of the power and strength we have when we pull our energies together...

Namaste!

Sheri...as you know I immediately noticed yesterday that there was no Thursday card! And even texted you to make sure you were OK. Silly me..of course you are.

Our Master Mind Group missed our last session and we rescheduled for this next week. And even though we did not have our regular monthly phone call, I have felt the support and love from my two MMG partners through every day, giving me Strength and Compassion.

Thanks for this post.

As I type, I am heading outside to do some yardwork. So yes to enjoying outside!

I like that quote from Solomon. It makes me think of the very supporting ALI community (Adoption, Loss, Infertility) and the role it serves for many.

Often I contribute support, on occasion I tap into it for support. It's a wonderful reservoir for me.

Great post! Suffering is universal, and if we remember that, we can be empathetic to another's experience.

Thank you Sheri,

Such great reminders. It is true you never know what other people are going through.

I know in my case there are a lot of people suffering financially, we are not alone.

Moving forward today with strengh, compassion and peace.
