Well, last night I received a message from an old flame. He defintily acting child-like. He was telling me many things that he remembered about me and how he enjoyed my company when him and I were in High School. Mind you this happen about 13 years ago. He was sweet but I was not buying it.

I also am reminded of the need to surrender.

I'm such a driver that I want to "make" things happen. Once in a while, I have to be reminded to let things go so the universe can work on things, too. Lest I think I can do it all on my own. ;)

Does pausing for joy open the way for that surrender? I'm willing to give it a try. I'm tired of worrying about

As someone who continually needs to be reminded to play, I really like the presence of this card today. It fits, too. I feel as if, through Facebook and reunions and delving through old journal entries, I've been healing my childhood hurts for awhile now.
