Perfect Moment Monday -- They Finally Figured It Out!

My DH LOVES to tease the boys. It is part of his nature, probably because his father is a teaser too.

When the boys first met their step-father, they started to identify a tone of voice he uses when he is teasing. A common question would be, "Mom, is he using THE VOICE?" when they just weren't sure if he was kidding or not.

DH also wrestles with them, which helps all of them use their testosterone energies in a positive way. Up until now, DH has weighed at least twice as much as any one of them, which made it easy for him to hold them down, tickle them, etc.

As all three boys move into their teenage years, they are now bigger (both taller and in weight), but still, they haven't been able to physically overpower DH...until now.

They have finally figured it out! What if instead of going one-on-one, they were to team up?

Two of them figured it out accidentally the other night when DH was wrestling (and beating) one of them. Older brother enters stage left and begins to help, finding one of DH's weak spots by tickling him.

DH laughed and laughed and laughed as the boys "tortured" him. Finally the boys had found a way to even the odds.

There's nothing like seeing brothers teaming up and hearing DH laugh out loud.

Another perfect moment for me!

Oh, oh. Will they start doing this to their aunts, too?

Lovely pic. Makes me miss you all so much.

They've discovered what we learned many, many moons ago ... the secret, magical power of three!

I've seen it a few times when an outside force threatens them. The three unify and they can be completely impenetrable (Except to one who has embodied the Power of Three).

What a wonderful discovery. May it stay with them their whole lives through.

Except when it comes to their Aunts and their Mom.
